Shanzeh and Jose were married on a sunny November day in Cancun, Mexico, with The Finest Playa Mujeres as the stunning backdrop for their celebration.

They chose to spend the morning getting ready separately, surrounded by their closest friends and family, before sharing a private first look. Being present with their people was deeply important to them, so we thoughtfully completed the majority of their photos beforehand. From first look, we moved into portraits that highlighted the resort’s striking white architecture while still incorporating the lush greenery that makes Mexico so vibrant.

As the afternoon light softened, guests gathered for a ceremony overlooking the ocean, the perfect setting for Shanzeh and Jose to exchange their vows. The celebration flowed into a lively beachside cocktail hour, where a mariachi band set the tone and palomas were passed as guests mingled along the shore. Dinner followed, and just before speeches, we slipped away for a quick golden hour session on the beach, capturing the softest light of the day.

As night fell, the dance floor came alive. Their DJ seamlessly blended elements of their cultures with favorite songs, keeping the energy high all evening. With drinks flowing, laughter echoing, and a confetti-filled exit to close out the night. Cheers S&J! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me be apart of your wedding weekend.
